This past weekend, Mommy and I went to Austin to celebrate my friend, Madelyn's 1st birthday! We also gave Daddy a lot of time to study, so he can spend more time with me! Mommy and I had a very eventful weekend...let me tell you about it....

GB bought me this really cool rocking horse while she was in Michigan last weekend. It actually neighs, it's tail wags, and it sounds like it is really trotting!

This is my new high chair! I can't help that I always look this cute...just something about me...maybe the bald head! Thank you Janice for furnishing me with this delightful chair!

GB and Pooh Bah also got me a horse costume for halloween! This is just part of it...GB wanted to jump on but Mommy wouldn't let her!?

Then Mommy, Pooh Bah, GB, and I went to meet Ann Marie...Mommy's high school friend! She took us to Baby Bugaloo in Austin where we bought a few pretty hats to cover my bald head! Mommy says I'm going to be as tall as Ann Marie...she's 6 feet tall!

Mommy always talked about the book dates that she went on with GB and Pooh Bah, and finally I got to go on one! My first book date and we bought "WAG!" by Patrick McDonnell...he's the one who writes the comic strips that hang in my room!
More of me and Auntie Ann Marie...Mommy says she adopted her as my Aunt since she doesn't have any siblings on her side...
Me and Great Grammie and Pooh Bah's birthday bash!
Sitting in a high chair all by myself...I'm just the independent type!
Oh my gosh Mommy...look at those things...they are amazing!
I'm not sure who you are, but you've got the good stuff! Words a mother hopes that she doesn't hear into adulthood! (This is Pooh Bah's friend, Bill Williams, and he was nice enough to feed me while Mommy ate)
Happy 6oth Pooh Bah!
Mommy's cousin is a bit strange, but his expression makes me think he is thinking the same thing about me!?
MOMMY, I'M BEING ATTACKED!
Finally, off to the party we came for...there is nothing like an infant boogie down!
Mommy also saw some college friends. This is Allison...she went to graduate school with Mommy.
Here is the birthday girl...1-year-old and growing! Happy B-day Madelyn!
Madelyn's yummy B-day cupcake!
Our yummy cupcakes!
I hope I get as many presents as Madelyn got! She had tons of gift bags, a red wagon, and a rocking horse!
Mommy's friend, Lana (another college friend) and Clint continue to contemplate giving Madelyn her first real sweet treat...Come on, let loose...we infants have to party hard at times!

After the party, Mommy, Pooh Bah, GB, and I went to the ranch where the weather took a chilly turn.

Can you guess where I get my beautiful blue eyes from?
Pooh Bah introduced me to the barn cats!
And GB insisted on making mommy introduce me to the horses...mommy wasn't too sure about this one.
GB decided to take me on a stroll while we waited for the ....

sheriff! Yup, Pooh Bah locked the keys in the new van with all three dogs trapped inside!
Not even going to comment on this...the picture says enough!
Mommy also allowed me to greet GB's Great Danes.
I like them!
GB also bought us matching pj's...I'm starting to think she has a horse problem...what do you think?
