Just an update!

Just wanted to update you all on our exciting lives! Enjoy!

We all went to the Garden and Arts Festival this past weekend! I just don't know what I'm going to do with him...I just want a REAL smile...the camera will NOT take your soul...I swear!
Yup...she is definitely his daughter! I beg of you...smile!
Home at last!
I made her first home-made meal...sweet potatoes...but...
was too scared to give it too her (not sure what it's going to do to her digestive system), so I opted for rice cereal in her new high chair...fyi...I gave her the sweet potatoes the next night! She loves them!

It was Debbie's birthday this past week (she's the one in the blue, glowing with pregnancy:) We stayed out all night drinking...water with lemon! What rebals we are! Happy 29th b-day, Debbie! We love you!
It was baby music again at my school! We had a great time...I just wish she would smile a little...she just stares and takes it all in...I just look at it as she's getting smarter!
The principal was up at the school late, so he joined us! All four of us were pregnant last year and we are actually all sitting in our birth order! Mateo's the oldest, Rowdy is next, then Ariselle, and finally Blythe...and trust me...it felt like she waited the longest! :)

6 Month Photos

We went and took 6 month photos today...if you spend so much, they send you home with all the pics you took and you are free to do with them as you please...She takes after her dad for sure...very serious!

SHE SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT!!!!

Yes!!! Finally!!! She went to bed at 9pm and woke up at 8:30am...what a treat! Now, I went to bed at 11 because I was watching Texas Tech lose to Texas...how disappointing, BUT we were in the game the whole time! Unfortunately, my boobs had not received the memo, because I still had to get up at 4am and pump...but that will come to! YEA!!!!

More baby music!

We went to our other baby music class at my school (the music teacher is doing it for free...sort of...we are her test subjects for her master's thesis...but a good trade-off)! There is a bigger range in ages between the kids, and it is fun to see the other children having so much fun! And since I'm more comfortable with the people around (since I work with most of them), I persuaded on of the guys to take some photos! I new there was a reason for men! :)

At this point the class is bouncing with their babies around in a circle and singing!
I know this picture looks like I'm dropping her...but it's intentional...we were "dropping them to the ground" with the music! Blythe just knew the camera was there so she was trying to pose! The little girl behind me in pink is named Keegan...it was hard to concentrate in the class because her parents would say, "yea, Keegan!" and I wanted to turn around each time and say, "oh, thanks, I know I'm good!" But then the disappointment settled in when I realized they were speaking to a 18 month old! :)

I'm a BIG girl!

Today was Blythe's six month well baby check up! Here are the numbers...she is in the 97th percentile for weight, meaning she weighs more than 97% of babies her age, she is in the 98th percentile for height, and in the 99th percentile for head circumference...I just think this one means that she is SUPER smart! The doctor did say she should be sleeping through the night (she is now still getting me up 2-3 times a night)...therefore, she is training me...so I get to let her cry it out tonight...the doctor asked if I was tough and I started crying as he was telling me what I needed to do...SO, I think I'm more of the weak type! We'll see who blinks first...I hope it is Blythe because Mommy needs some sleep! :)

It's official...

she can roll over! Well, from front to back...but we are soooo close to back to front...she needs a few more days and she will have that to check off on her list of accomplishments! Go Blythe!

Joyful Noise

Today we went to our first" kindermusik" class...we are in the village class...because it takes a village :) Here are some after photos...I hope next week we can get some during the session! Thursday we will have some more music photos because our music teacher at school is also holding a baby music class! Blythe is going to be so musical!

She really did enjoy herself...she laughed herself silly...now no smiles! I guess there weren't any left!?

I said quit taking so many pictures of me...I'm tired!

Happy 6 month birthday to me!

Sorry it's been a while...with Mommy going back to school, I always come first, so the blog gets put on the back burner. Here I am with a new toy...not really sure what I'm supposed to do with it?!

Today was a bit chilly here...football weather, here it comes! Mommy, Daddy, Bandaid, and Blue went for a walk today...I had to show off my new digs!
I also tried a teething biscuit today...I guess it's better than Mommy's finger, but I need a second try just to make sure! Mommy, where are you?!
By the way...today I turned 6 months...Happy 6 month birthday to me! Cha cha cha!
